My "collection" as of tonight
You may have seen this post elsewhere on a similar site
, but if not, here it is:
Well, I am almost like Riley when it comes to being undecided as to what I want , but after selling the pieces I needed to to get the Richard Mille RG RM005 I wanted (which never showed up for sale! ), I exchanged it for the Rubberclad and the PAM88 (both thanks to Gil!). Next is a pic of the whole family as it stands tonight and will be for quite some time. From top to bottom and left to right: AP Rubberclad (if you are into watches, gotta have an AP or PP, I opted for the AP), Rolex Date circa 60s (inherited from grandpa, NEVER for sale, REGARDLESS of price, Seiko quartz 500 limited pieces discovery of America (you would be amazed of the compliments on it), Panerai PAM88, wanna be Daytona (gag gift, special memory..), Citizen annual calendar (only watch wife gave to me 11 years ago and was with me when I broke my back in 5 places and nearly left me paralized; constant reminder of what is truly important in life: health and family love), Seiko Black Monster (sees more wear than all the other combined x2, and for those who have not tried one, don't, you will be hooked), Movado Museum (circa 1996, surprise wedding night gift to my wife, I got a his and hers matching set when we had less funds and only "dreamed" of having nicer pieces, again NOT EVER FOR SALE, not that anyone would want it! ), center piece is an Acutrak quartz watch I got from my father in law (RIP ) that is the ultimate lap timer, chrono, lap counter, etc. watch. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but they all suit me fine (except for the gag gift, but that is another story for another time).
