It is such a soft leather that it contours around the arm much more comfortably. I love it. Totally different leather than the horn back straps. This strap is the one found on the tourbuillon chronograph.

That being said, the best part about the rubber strap in tandem with the carbon case is that I literally could wear it anywhere all the time and not worry about it at all.

Not really.. as it has a SS back cover and an SS pin & buckle. I sometimes notice little under the crown with prolonged wear in humid conditions.

salt water will do wonders for your patina...

a roofer friend I know who does copper roofs uses salt water for his clients to speed up the patina process.
