RE: taking photos of watches:

Being a watch guy means dealing with the occasional embarrassing moment (or just not caring, hah).

I was at this outdoor tasting event in L.A. a few weeks ago, some dude was walking his dog around, and my friends were all admiring how beautiful it was. He stopped to let my friends pet the dog, and I said "I like your dog, but I like your big pilot much better!" not even realizing how completely sexual it sounded (I'm straight, not sure about the guy with the dog).

Everyone burst out laughing and buddy slinked away sheepishly. Woops.

Kevin, like Raiff I also am a big guy with big wrists and I have no trouble wearing my Deep Sea with dress shirts and its 44mm and extremely thick. I also wear my Big Pilot (46 mm and thick, but not as thick as my Deep Sea) with dress shirts. Its all relative to wrist size A typical 38mm "dress" watch looks comically small on me, almost like a quarter strapped to my wrist. That's why I stick to sporty watches as they are typically much larger.

I just didn't think they would work with dress shirts. I guess it follows that if the shirt size is much bigger, I am sure where the cuff opens is bigger as well. pics of BP!

farewell my love, panda last time on my wrist to pay my condolences to a friend who lost his dad yesterday.
then a bad pic of the bb thrown on.
i think there is no contention that the gp + bb go much better than gp + panda. however i maintain that the panda is as sexy as either and has nothing to prove!
collection wise, bb/gp/rollie oysters make give a lot more variation.
practicality and with my intentions, ceramic bezel is so much better.
future wise, i can revisit the panda world at will i hope and pick up a used one that has been "loved" and beaten.

came to a deal which i agree on and think is fair for all parties.
i kept my singapore f1 strap. i got credit. and i got the cash that makes me level at what i want for the panda.
did not buy the bumblebee .. yet .. more to follow later ..

now, about that pepsi bezel for the gmtii to add blue into the mix
