But when I tried one on, it just wasn't for me.
As with all fine watches, a B&R must be tried on. But the B&R is so different, a try on the wrist becomes even more important.
They definitely are not for everyone.
I may reevaluate someday. But right now, I don't plan to own one.

A while back a few of you asked me to post a few additional pics of my IWC Portugeuese Automatic.
Well, I had it on today and snapped some shots for you guys.
I cannot think of a more elegant, classy or comfortable watch. It wears lightly on the wrist yet has a nice presence.
The white face with the gold hands and markers gives it a dressy look while the brown band tones it back a bit.
Mine initially came with the black band. I chanced it to brown. The strap is OEM deployment from IWC.
