awesome Gabga, had a blast. saw friends of long years past, i am talking 6-8 yrs ago. best thing is that i had NO IDEA i would see ANY of them, totally had no expectations as this was a social obligation, amazing how small the world (kuwait) is.
spotted a rosegold ap offshore, really sweet looking watch (1st time for me to see one in the wild), young guy wearing it seemed like a nice bloke which was a relief/expected as the douches wear rolexs here for the most part

speaking of which ..

edit: just found that a RG AP ROO goes for $24k used/mint. imho worth it, sometimes i wonder whether it's a H U G E blessing in my case that it's not permitted for men to wear gold

gabga
a social gathering over food (as usual) during the holy month of ramadhan in the late PM

the fasting is over by sundown (nowadays around 7pm)
so a gabga starts approx 10.30-11.30pm
you start fasting for the next before sunrise (nowadays around 3.45am)

it's a dinner party basically, only in ramadhan
on the night BEFORE ramadhan, it would be called "Graish"

Oh, interesting. Sounds like a good time, minus the fact that your probably so hungry from not eating all day.
Do you wear your white outfit with the white head dress to this?

In Greece we fast for 40 days before Easter, no meat or dairy. I only fast the meat(I've only done it a few years) I can't fast both it's too limiting.

Retiring this one today, after 35 years of daily use... never a problem, except my son dropped it on a hardwood floor when he was two and it spun up like a GT3!

Looks so small compared to today's watches... but a classic, nonetheless.
