it looks even better in person, quite surprised. my only complaint is that it can be little thicker. other than that, it's great.

if so, do you know of one? better yet, a used one with a more dented price?

as for other materials, i don't wear gold watches for religious purposes mate

and i cannot wear platinum watches for financial purposes

that said, i love the Royal Oak line but all the ones i love are on strap, and therefore are either YG or WG.
RMs are sweet to behold and incredible watches, but their prices make me dizzy and i think sometimes it gets a bit too ridiculous

as for a Patek, i think we are discussing in the range of a Nautilus, and while i love it as well, i don't see myself daily-ing one, nor actually have it fit my lifestyle/clothes 6 days of the week, and to be honest i am not yet as refined a gentleman to bump my status to PP

PS: i think PorscheFanatic posted a pic of his aquanaut a few months back and that watch was pretttty sweet as well
* i knew it was a mistake coming back to this forum and posting again

okay guys, i figured this whole AP thing out
a. you should never buy one
b. if you do, you will always want another variant
c. when you do, you will first want a different dial
d. then a different case material becomes of essence
e. then insist that the bezel is also different (a 3rd watch)
f. you will start to think that a SE will appreciate the minute you buy one
g. rolex is a much friendlier brand to stick to, what ever happened to good ol' lil nice $10-12k watches
to be honest i never thought i would get to try a GP
but now that i have, i think i will need to rethink the bumblebee altogether (calling on meanmachine to swap with my panda for a week please?
) AND eliminate the chances of the newer 44mm ROO black dial/car/cer/ti since its price wouldn't really make sense versus the prospect of getting a GP
it was on sale for $42,900
not that i can afford it but i have to ask: is that a good deal?

wow bo yosif, 32ish??? you mean around 9,000 kuwaiti dinars for a new one?

i agree that AP have been pushing out a LOT of "special" and "limited" editions, AND that they have gone too crazy with their dials (and endorsements) BUT i still feel that only a select few of all of their ROO line speak to me

the kuwaiti AD yesterday said that this is the 8th and last one he has with 7 already sold

damn man.. abi wa7da but i'm the kind of person who would break a deal if i think anything is "over" what i think is "fair" to pay for even if by 1kd
so, who's in the market for a panda?

too bad about the papers, such an excellent price.
man i wish i can afford it i am still excited since last night and have the pic as my phone wallpaper
lol yeah man i totally am
i called meanmachine late last night and he was so sleepy i was embarassed to tell him that we'll talk later so i dragged the call about ROOs
i still think you should go with a Daytona bro

my only beef with the daytona is that it does not have a date, but it has such a clean look

it's impossible to follow their "special" and "limited" editions unless the pocket is no issue. leave that to the collectors. i only buy what i like. example on the Jarno Trulli LE piece. i personally don't think Trulli deserves a limited edition piece but the piece itself looks great. with carbon case + the new ceramet bezel, it makes a great daily watch. for little more money i prefer it over the Bumble Bee, which the yellow is too much for me for daily wear. the grey with red combo on the Trulli just low-key enough yet working very well together. it's also a great conversation piece for the guys that know what it is.
