The 8500 movement is, as you say, a fantastic movement for the relatively low price (depends on what you compare to). Beautifully decorated and fully visible through the sapphire case back. Couldn't be happier with my first "real" watch

Nice- great first "nice" watch. The movement decoration, Geneva waves of arabesque, is gorgeous!! I just got an IWC pilot chrono, my first "nice" watch and I love it. However since all I do is look at watch forums I always have the next one on my mind. Sub and AT are up there. more pics when you get around to it.
