What's on your wrist today?
#1902
I had some fun trying on some interesting pieces tonight...
Never ever ever going to buy one. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something worth that much on my wrist especially given how hard I usually am on watches. It was a fun experience though, and it definitely sparked my interest in fine watches more.

Maybe in another 5 years I'll think differently, but for now, I'll be staying in the Oris/Hamilton range.
Honest question, and I'm sure I'll get some negative rep from Jox/Josh/others, but what iseveryone's thoughts on homage's? I have been looking at Seiko's and others, that while looking similar to Submariner's, they don't say "Rolex" on them. Am I still posing, even without hiding anything? Jox made a comment in budget watch thread saying how they all looked the same as someone else's design, yet people still spend $750+ on these watches...

If you like the watches Craigger it only matters what the woman you are sleeping with thinks. That's it that's all. Well unless you are sleeping with Jox then ask him.
That's a good looking watch to me.

I know of him in LA. Watch world is super small. I don't want to tell tales - but I actually think he is the owner of the GF I sold
I'll send him a pm on another forum and see if wants to join in the fun here.
And, and hard as I'm trying to move to LA - I'm stuck here in snowy NJ.
Oh - H20 - no watch is a real maintenance nightmare. I was not implying that at all. Just, it was a piece that was so expensive I was afraid to wear it. It has a sticker of close to a CGT - approx $400K) feels wierd, at least to me having that on my wrist.
Gotta set boundaries. At least that's what my wife tells me about the kids.

[ The pic is old, so I would figured. This was just to show what kind of hardware the guy is into.
Astounding.
The woman thinks I'm a retired, living off the royalties from patenting the 32 sided dice (revolutionizing the way Dungeons and Dragons is played). So I guess anything's fair game at this point no?
