The first 44mm. I've bought was my Lum-tec M38. My wife kids me people across the room can tell the time. I'm thinking the 42mm would be a nice compromise for a dressier watch.

Yes, it is a nice dress watch IMO. I just look funny with anything on that is less than 44mm. My Deep Sea on me looks like a normal 40mm Sub would look on most people. See my predicament?

Because it was a great deal, and I was going to give it to my gf as a surprise. I never heard back from the guy, so no-go on that.

How are you liking your M38. I put it on the rubber strap over the weekend, and wore it yesterday and today. I absolutely love it. It is very comfortable to wear and has a simple layout. Perfect daily.

I like it a lot. I bought a vintage strap with the spitfire buckle from The StapSmith and it looks and feels great.

Nice, post up some pics! I am in the process of figuring out what strap I want to order from Rob for my IWC. For the m38, I love just changing straps all the time from brown to black to rubber, it gives me a little change.

It's been so long since posted pics, I've almost forgot how.
The buckle looks huge in the picture, but it actually looks good.

Order a WWII leather strap with a skull buckle. I have a torched skull buckle on the same strap and love it!
