Hi, long time thinking about type of watch I want next in my collection, decided to choose somethink from "diverswatch"

I want to spend max 5k Euro

My current watches are:
TH Carrera
TH Monaco
TH Link
Omega Speedmaster The Legend Schumacher ed.
IWC Portuguesse Automatic
Lum-Tec SuperCombat B2

So my options:

1. New Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Big - classic watch for me main reason of going for that watch is new Omega Werk
Name: Omega-Planet-Ocean-SKYFALL-LE-1jpg.jpg
Views: 39
Size: 83.3 KB

2. IWC Aquatimer - it's cheaper then Omega, werk is Eta but still it's IWC not Omega...

3. Breitling SuperOcean 44 one of the cheapest form groupe that I've choosen, plus I don't have Breitling in my collection

4. Tudor BlackBay or Pelagos I've gotten awesome price for both of them 2,9k CHF for BB and 3,4k CHF for Pelagos. Never saw it live but from what I've red som guys on this forum are happy owners. Only Problem is size I wanted somethink bigger then 43 not 41-42 :/

Two more option that I still consider

5. PAM312 thinking about Panerai for a very long time

6. IWC Ingenieur Mission Earth list price is over my budget but my local IWC store made my good discount for it and it can be mine for 5,1k Euro

Any ideas or suggestions?

I've wondered the same thing regarding an ETA movement in an IWC versus another brand all together in that same price range such as the PO.

One of the two:

Casio G-Shock GW-A1000D

Casio G-Shock GW-A1000-1A

... And still can't make up my mind.

if it's up to a poll, i vote the first one
the less-red works better imho
especially on a gshock .. i prefer them as monochromatic as possible

personally just added my 1st analog G, the GA-150
so it will be a while before i get another one, BUT THANKS FOR THE WEBSITE!!! it's awesome

imho those two are on a diff class, BEAUTIFUL
and if i were you i would shortlist them and work out if i want a bracelet vs strap

the price on the iwc is great for a bnib from the dealer! wonder how much you can get it 2nd hand .. would be a killer deal

how much does the omega go for? what can it be had at

You're most welcome bro.

I'm also favouring the GW-A1000D more. Here's a better look at them:

gr1zly, sorry to be that guy that points out the obvious but while they are nice watches, 4-6 are not diving watches. You mentioned that a diving watch is what is what you're aiming for so I would recommend eliminating those from your search. Also, looking at your current list, it appears a proper diving watch would be a nice addition to round out your collection.

I have number 2 so that would be my suggestion. When making the decision to purchase my Aquatimer, I had narrowed my search down to just it and the Planet Ocean. After doing extensive research on the brands I felt that IWC was a better match for me. Not sure of the pricing in Poland but when I purchased around a year ago, the IWC on bracelet was about $1k more than the PO even with about a 25% AD discount.

It's a great everyday watch that you can be very comfortable wearing in the water.
