Ok I finally got to try on a 5130R I really want one now. Its kind of been a grail for me for a long time and its bonus time. But my wife would kill me.

 

You guys know much about these?

 

I like that color combo for the Breguet. It is more industreous and younger looking than their traditional offerings. I am a big fan of their watches.

I see the Jerome as much more of a novelty. They made a splash by offering watches with bits of hardware they "acquired" Titanic. I don't care for them. They are too trendy for my taste and don't seem much different than the designs you see in department stores these days.

 

I didn't know about the Titanic pieces. I've never seen one but now like 3 times on different watch sites. I think they look pretty cool. Trendy I don't know. I'm not trendy

That Breguet looks cool as well. I'm concerned about the makeup of the bits and pieces. If it were 3k I wouldn't be so much.

I have never owned a breguet- only dreamt of it. So I can't comment on reliability. But, being that they have been around for over 200 years (!) I would expect something very special.

 

I would suggest, the Super Grover.

 

I don't like blue

 

But it's always 1:35. Perfectly accurate twice a day.
