decided it might be a good idea to get a new watch for the birth of my son in a few weeks. i have a small wrist and my current tag is 41mm, so i'll try on the 42mm chrono and 38mm Mark XVI to see which fits better

im looking to buy within the next week so the inlaws can bring it back from florida when they come. any recommended sites or AD's in the US?

the dual time?

or the chrono?

both are GREAT looking watches, i dig the functions on the dual time more as they are more useful for a watch this classy (though the date dial seems a bit crowded?)

I have come to terms with the watch being too big for me... The volcano is still the only one I have tried on and maybe more relaxed darker colors would help with the size feel, but I just don't know if I can get comfortable with it.
1. you're right, different versions do have the illusion of a different size. but i would think the volcano is one of those that have a 'smaller' feel due to the black dial. every time i wear the Black themes ROO, i can't help but see it much smaller than the Panda. don't worry about the diameter of the bezel, think about the high-rise state of the case. that is what you will feel and notice once you daily it hope this helps with your decision

2. the VC and the Volcano are T O T A L L Y different watches imo (even if you meant the VC Chrono). so based on your tone, i think now you KNOW you gotta go with the VC.

ap roo vs vc overseas = win win situation

HUGE CONGRATS!
my vote goes for the chrono!

i was just going to ask Kevin (TCF) for where to look online, and what i shouldn't pay more-than for one. seriously thinking of getting one as a present for my favourite cousin

Boursachi I agree with you about the functions of the dual time. I like both, my other 2 watches are chrono so I debate keeping that them going or should I get something different?!

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Yeah, get the PP, forget the RM, and wait for a grey market VC...
