Your next watch

i still love the RO DT (as well as the new ROC), but with the 5726 not so far away from it in terms of price -if the seller checks out- it makes it a tough call because, seriously, what can you get after a Patek
that said, i agree. 5726 > any AP RO (skeleton perp included if you ask me)

(in Londoner accent) myes i quite believe that would be splendid, just not sure any of their current offerings match the color scheme of my yacht mmhaa
(back to my normal Eurotrash accent) this, on the other hand, matches my current interest in cabbage
Well I guess you can pick up two of these for all occasions, to match perfectly! The SubC isn't bad, but I don't like how wide the watch is at the lugs. Great daily beater though.

There is an article in the WatchTime from february 2011 you should read. They say, pros:very easy to read dial, good craftsmanship, attractive design. Cons: date display changes slowly, water resistant only up to 60m.

LOVE THAT WATCH. I am biased, I say to get it! In-house Pellaton movement, love the shape of the case, and personally am a fan of the pushers (nautical themed - ship bollards). Great strap and deployant, too.

Will be leaving for Zurich this eavening on business. Surely I'll do some windowshopping if I find the time. Am trying to find a new watch to want for my 30-the birthday, so won't be purchasing anytime soon. At the moment have no idea whatsoever what I'll get. been leaning towards something more simple, maybe with alarm. Panerai comes to mind, or Rolex Datejust. Maybe I'll get a used one from my birth year. I'll be sure to share what've come across and some prices (which are normally higher in swiss than anywhere else + add to that the swiss franc )

Sounds good Sonar, let us know how your window shopping turns out
What do you guys think about Longines btw? Within the next year I will need to get myself a watch that goes well with a suit. I found this one which I really like and isn't too pricey but I don't know much about the brand. Any info is much appreciated.
I know it's not as hot as Axmans awesome IWC but on the other hand it's a lot cheaper too.

I think I'd like the suit watch not to exceed 2-3k € and also I prefer a new one. If I were to buy a used one it would be in a higher price range but that's not gonna happen for a while.
