The design and complications that Patek Philippe produces are always spectacular and the 5159G is certainly no exception.
The case is superb in 18K White Gold and the solid gold dust cover that protects the transparent case back is magnificent.
With its self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 324 S QR movement, the Ref. 5159 is a rare perpetual calendar with a retrograde date and sweep seconds.
In keeping with the manufacture's tradition, the magnificent "officer's style" case in rose gold has a hinged cover that protects the case back.
Self-Winding Movement With Date And Sweep Seconds.
Caliber 324 has a self-winding mechanism powered by a central 21K gold rotor which has a high degree of efficiency.
Perpetual calendar with retrograde date hand Day, month, leap year in apertures.
Moon phases - formed by disc, decorated with golden stars and two golden moons against a blue background representing the sky, rotates within an aperture.
The disc is cut from a wafer of corundum crystal (sapphire).
A perpetual calendar is a mechanism that automatically takes into account the varying number of days in each month as well as leap years so that the watch displays the correct date each month without the need of adjustment.
The moon-phase mechanism remains accurate for 122 years and 45 days, and then only has to be corrected by one day.
Water resistant to 30 meters / 100 feet
The watch is physically in stock in our inventory and may be picked up at our office or shipped sercurely with insurance same day!!!
The watch was only tried on for one hour and is LIKE NEW!
