Dining in Monte Carlo & Paris

I'm off next week to Europe. I will be staying in Monaco, Bagnols & Paris for 10 days total. I'm looking for recommendations in Monte Carlo & Paris. We will be in Monte Carlo on the 18th for our 10th Anniversary so I want something special. I think most of the time we will play it by ear, but I want a reservation for a couple nights anyways. I love the fine dining of Las Vegas, but Guy Savoy for example isn't my style. Although I would even go back there to let someone else enjoy such an over the top experience, it wouldn't be my 1st choice. I prefer restaurants like SW Steakhouse, Stripsteak or Prime.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Jason

For an occasion I probably shouldn't miss it...at least once.

you can read my blog in the Paris section to see if anything catches your fancy:
ChuckEats blog

if you're not a fancy food guy, stick to high quality bistros like L'Ami Jean (make reservations now).

Went to Le Grill on the 8th floor of Hotel de Paris last night. We had a beautiful patio seat over looking the harbour. The service & food was exceptional.
