Where to stay in DC?
Hey guys.
I might have to make a quick trip to DC to visit a client for a day.
Figure I'd be there for 24-48 hours.
Need to be in the city.
Since my time there would be limited, my top priority of things to do during my free time is visit the Holocaust Museum...
Anyone have any good hotel suggestions? Good places to grub?
Convenience is key. Just need a clean hotel; a Four Seasons-esque is out of the question, don't want to spend that type of $$$ for a trip like this.
Thanks guys

Do a search and see where this place is in relation to where you need to be but the Ritz Carlton Georgetown is a great spot - below Four Seasons pricing - great hotel bar and restaurant - killer location for a nice walk around M Street/Georgetown after a long day of work and travel. That is my pick.

Embassy Suites is always a good choice and has a couple of downtown locations. There are a couple of regular Holiday Inns that get good reviews as well. If you have hotel points, I recommend The Willard. Historic and high class, accepts Holiday Inn points.
Tons of places to eat downtown. Once you have booked a hotel, let us know the location, and we can give some good suggestions within walking distance.
Off of the top of my head, though, there is Fogo de Chao, Loriol Plaza, Clyde's, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Ritz on 22nd and M. I lived in the apartment building across the street for 9 years. Uber nice as you would imagine, walking distance to G-town but not right in the middle of it so it's quiet. Hit up Lulu's across the way for drunken sluts.
