Not to threadjack on the other honeymoon thread going right now (although I'm not spending 32 days on mine sadly.)

We are getting married in September and are looking for a nice getaway to somewhere warm and that time of the year presents a lot of issues b/c the Caribbean is in hurricane season and both hemispheres are in cooler periods.

We are considering the Norther regions in South America or South of Spain, Turkey, and the Greek Islands.

Ideally we are looking for a resort where we can book a private villa and if it were in a place like the Greek Islands we would be willing to split the trip between two resorts.

Any suggestions out there on actual resorts?

 

This place is pretty cool - was just there for a night and seemed like a GREAT place to nothing but hang with your new wife
