We have a large population of turkey out here.
Have to slow for them crossing the road, see them out in the fields or ride up on them on the 4 wheeler in the woods quite often when I head down to the river.
If the urge and opportunity arrive at the same time, it'll be a wild one served this year.
I'd really like to have two .. one to smoke, the 2nd to deep fry, but that's a lot of turkey.
Nothing can beat the taste of a wild bird ... nothing.

Who peed in your food?
Oh wait, you also gave Stryke a hard time for buying washer and dryer that are more expensive than what you deem to be acceptable.
If you don't care about food, feel free not to contribute to this thread.
Different turkeys do taste differently, just like grass fed beef taste different than the McDonald beef, etc, and etc.
Why are you in the food section again?

oh don't get your fathers all rustled up. I was just jerking your chain. I know how much you like food and enjoy your posts on this subject. Actually lived in Taiwan when I was in Junior High. 1968-1970. Attend Taipei American School. Lived in Tin Moo (not sure of the spelling there) We were civilians. My Dad was transferred there for a 2 year assignment.

It's Tien Mu, and it is way the f out there in its own little world. Very inconvenient to nightmarkets, shopping, etc.
TAS is now a super nerdy school with super competitive parents. Very much different than the ISB, TAS, etc of the 70's.
