When are you trying to book for? I just booked tickets to Paris for October and it came to ~$740 with all taxes and fees. Flight is on US Air

Just got back from taking my wife and daughter to Paris, London and New York. The dollar is so weak that everything in Europe is very expensive. Having said that we had a great time.

That are normal prices.I paid 1100€ for a flight from Germany to Los Angeles (and back) wich is about 1600$ for ONE Person.Normal price imo.Espeacially during the summer month (July to September).Oh and just to make that clear: I flew economy with US Airways.
