Ultimate Grantour

A few of us are going in search of the ultimate driving road in Europe, using the Top Gear episode as our inspiration. We have space for a couple of extra people if anyone is interested?

DM me for details.

Depart: 21st July 2011 (from UK).
We can meet European friends at Grenoble, France that evening.

Roads we're driving include:
- Route Napoleon
- Col de Turini
- San Bernardino Pass
- Davos to Stelvio
- Stelvio Pass

It's a 5 or 6 day trip and should be a blast. We even have the exact green 997.1 GT3 RS that Hammond drove in that feature on our trip!

We're also taking a professional photographer who will be capturing our trip on (digital) film and on video, so you'll get some great pics and a nice book at the end! We're staying at nice (secure) hotels from Columbus in Monaco to Villa e Palazzo Aminta at Lake Maggiore.

Here's the Top Gear clip to whet your appetite!

Yes, we went - and we're doing it all again next year if you want to come?! Here's a few pictures in case you can't find the original post...

It was a fabulous trip. We produced a hard-backed book which can be seen here if you're interested...
