Just got to Miami. Need advice from the TS brethren

Hey guys,

Decided to come down to south beach for three days.
I'm staying at the gansevoort hotel and need some recommendations for restaurants (sushi, Thai, etc) and lounges.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I just got back from Miami and Hernando had a ton of suggestions. Definitely ask him. We went to Makoto in the Bal Harbour shops for sushi and it was fantastic. Also a great area to spot exotics!

^^ +1 on Makoto! Its my new favorite sushi restaurant in Sobe. Also great choice on the Gansevoort that hotel is awesome and my dad happens to do the phone system for their hotel. As far as places to check out Bal Harbour Shops is great (thats where Makoto is) they have a lot of shopping and also a great Italian restaurant and French one. Also Mr Chows for chinese at the W South Beach is amazing. Hope that helps let me know if you have anymore questions.
