Traveling to Atlanta for Petit.... Any suggestions/pointers?

The annual guys trip will land in Atlanta this year for my friends and I. None of us have experienced ATL before so we were looking for some hotel/restaurant recs... It looks like Buford or Gainesville will be best for a hotel given the proximity to the track. Nonetheless, we plan on heading downtown in the evenings leading up to the race for a good time! Thanks for steering us in the right direction!!!

Petit's pretty far away. I can't wait, though. Buford or Gainesville are both good choices. As is Braselton. If you want a nicer stay, look into the Buckhead area in Atlanta, but it's a good ways from the track.

Fake tits & champagne or Beer & conversation?
Let me know and I'll try to point you in the right direction

As of right now we are thinking of one evening for fine dining and a few martinis/wine while leaving the others reserved for casual fun with good beer and food. Thanks for the suggestions! As for the fake tits & champagne, we will just have to see where the nights take us!!!
