Time to "reveal" some jetset "secrets" / tales from the French Riviera.
Things that MOST people may not know or have not heard about....
Every summer Magic Johnson leases a yacht, the Amadeus, from Bernard Arnault actually owns the boat and LVMH, DIOR, Givenchy, Guerlain and tons and tons of other amazing brands. Often he extend and invitation to friends to join him and his family.
Often in company with his friend Phil Robinson, film director and screenwriter etc etc. Phil Robinson was one of the judges on VH1's reality series, "I Want to Work for Diddy." He brokered a monumental deal between MCA and Magic Johnson to form Magic Johnson Music. Phil Robinson also negotiated and secured the television reality show; "Making the Team" starring Magic Johnson with Columbia Tri Star and Davis Television, By successfully building and promoting the Magic Johnson brand and franchise, Phil Robinson increased company revenue by millions, making it one of the most valuable music and destination entertainment companies in the world.
Mr. Robinson and Mr. Magic Johnson are high and low, enjoying the whole French Riviera. And such a great guy, always taking some time to his many fans.

* M/Y AMADEUS is a mega yacht in every way at 70 meters in length. Believe it or not Amadeus was originally a research vessel (a 1960’s icebreaker hull) and she was converted into the modern mega yacht over the course of two years by Jade Yachts.
* Total of 6 levels.
18 staff members (on the boat at all times), 2 chefs, 6 bedrooms, elevator, movie theater, 3 living areas, gym, dining hall and much much more.
* #58 Worlds largest yachts

Restaurant
Some small ideans for restaurants to visit.
"Magic Johnsons restaurant"........ See pic in post #452
Mamo Michelangelo
Owner is "Mamo", a larger than life local restaurateur / entrepreneur who greets all his guests with a smile.
The ambience is the one of a chic trattoria with a lovely interior decor in the old town of Antibes, and a fine offering of local fish, seafood and Italian specialties. Waiters are friendly and professional but the food is just ok and very expensive.
BUT If you don't care that the evening is a few euros more expensive than in a village-restaurant or in a rotten tourist trap and that you find "Flavio Briatore type of guys" more entertaining than annoying.....
THEN you will not be disapointed with the Michelangelo. Funky, very 80's Cotes Azur..... ( 3, rue des Cordiers 06600 Antibes - 04 93 34 04 47 )
