thanks for your reply
I guess Monaco then is something like St. Moritz...nice for the season and to breathe in some of the flair, meet friends and have a good time
You gotta be a very good customer both at MB and Ferrari...
chapeau for really having made it all by yourself!
that earns my respect!
Esp. in the security biz...a lot of shit to go through at first..

"My car was in what you today would refer to as a development program.
It had up-to-date technology with many software upgrades and a lot of pieces from the Challenge Stradale.
Ferrari S.p.A uses special client cars for development of future models".
Can you imagine the sound in a Spider like this ?

My cars - Monaco / French Riviera
Past to present, part 21.
In 2003 I got one of the first 55's with Performance Package ( I was waiting for it), but this car was a "one off" SL 55 ///AMG F1 Safety Car (original) with 600++ HP by ///AMG.
The car had among many things, a complete different exhaust system with racing catalytic converters. Talk about NASCAR sound, it was extreme....
My gearbox was modified with something called "AMG manual gear shift", meaning you could drive it into the limiter without the gearbox was changing it automatically for you. This car also had LSD (limited slip differential).
Chrome mirrors, chrome inlet surrounding the headlights and the front grill painted in silver (black standard). Car also had a small spoiler behind (see pics).
When I took delivery of the SL 55 ///AMG F1, I got chrome door pins with ///AMG logo and a ///AMG F1™ Safety Car front numberplate, as a small present the factory.

My cars - Monaco / French Riviera
Past to present, part 22.
The color was 040 black (if I remember right) a very shining gorgeous black and with black windows (tainted). That gave a very aggressive but elegant look.
A REAL bodyguard car....

My cars - Monaco / French Riviera
Past to present, part 23.
Note the original Safety Car steering wheel and the piano black wood trim in the whole car. Standard the 55 had this tacky aluminum console. It looked like the inside of a used ashtray....
