Thinking of taken a trip to Monaco,Whats the best time to go?

 

Moved to the correct section, I'd go over the summer.

 

May > September

 

I went in June '06 and to the '07 GP. Go during the GP!

 

Dont stay in Monaco, stay somewhere in Nice or in Antibes more to see and more reasonable prices.

 

We stayed in Grasse, up the mountain from Cannes. The roads were phenomenal

 

Only Monaco? I'd go out and check out the whole Côte if I were you. Don't know how long you're planning to stay but I'll tell you what, I got bored of Monaco after just one day.

And like MeanMachine said, go in May/early June or the end of September. It's crowded with tourists in July and August.

Edit: Grasse is really nice. Also check out St. Paul de Vence. The further inland, the closer you get to the Provence, which is my favorite part of France.

 

Its great and also Ezze, Ville Franche etc. Lots of nice places, Eden Rock Hotel is fantastic as well.

 

If you are a car fan, there is only one time to go to Monaco - DURING THE FREAKING GRAND PRIX!!

 

Stayed 3 nights in Monaco in July '08...fantastic...I agree...move on down the coast.
