Fishing off the Carolina coast
Anyone have tips, experience etc. on this? I will be on the North/South Carolina border mid June. I am looking at a charter to head about 60 miles out to the Gulf Stream.

Good friends of mine have a boat they own and charter out of Cape Carteret, NC.
Charter Boats Morehead City
Capt. Ed Petrelli is a friend of mine. Good guy, and his sons are his crew.
You might remember him and his boat from this story from last year.

Another place would be to leave out of Charleston SC. Could probably get some #'s for you if you decided to go that route. All the people I know go on their personal boats in Charleston.
