Went to Kushi Shabu about a month back. This place is in Weller Court in Little Toyko. As the name would imply, this is a shabu shabu restaurant, but they also have a katsu bar. It's actually the only one that I personally know of in the area. This stuff isn't the healthiest of foods, but who doesn't like fried food, especially when served on a stick?

Condiments - Hot mustard, garlic miso, katsu sauce, lemon, sea salt.



Veggies - To lessen the guilt.



Gyu, Ebi, Zucchini - Beef and green onion, shiso wrapped shrimp, zucchini.



Buta, Kani - Pork with green onion, crab wrapped with silago.



Asparagus - Bacon wrapped, Japanese mayo



Shake, Jyagaimo - Salmon, bacon wrapped potato



Okra - Okra, shrimp, okra, cheese.

 

Sunagimo, Renkon, Geso, Shi-take - Chicken gizzard, lotus root stuffed with chicken curry, squid legs, mushroom stuffed with ground chicken.



Nasu - Eggplant, sweet sesame sauce.



Teba - Stuffed chicken wing.



Tonkatsu - Kurobuta pork. (Not on the menu)



Gyu Katsu - Wagyu beef. (Not on the menu)
