Northeast U.S. Skiing
I'm thinking about taking a trip this winter for a few days to go Skiing/snowboarding and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations on where to ski on the east coast. I was initially looking at Stowe and Lake Placid, but would be grateful for any input.

I've been to Killington when I was younger to ski. I haven't skiied in years because hockey took up most of my time in the winter as I got older.

Stowe, VT - more upscale and long haul (Northern VT) but some of the best skiing on the coast
Killington, VT- my mountain of choice. I spend just about every weekend here in the winter. Huge mountain, all types of terrain, great nightlife, plenty of lodging. Central VT so not a huge drive.
Jay Peak, VT- The "biggest mountain" skiing you are going to get. big mountain, serious amount of snow, but once again far away.
