Northeast U.S. Skiing

I'm thinking about taking a trip this winter for a few days to go Skiing/snowboarding and was wondering if anyone had any recomendations on where to ski on the east coast. I was initially looking at Stowe and Lake Placid, but would be grateful for any input.

I've been to Killington when I was younger to ski. I haven't skiied in years because hockey took up most of my time in the winter as I got older.

Anywhere in the NY, VT, NH area is fine, they are all pretty far up, so an hour or two here and there doesnt really matter.

ctracer is an unknown quantity at this point
Stowe, VT - more upscale and long haul (Northern VT) but some of the best skiing on the coast

Killington, VT- my mountain of choice. I spend just about every weekend here in the winter. Huge mountain, all types of terrain, great nightlife, plenty of lodging. Central VT so not a huge drive.

Jay Peak, VT- The "biggest mountain" skiing you are going to get. big mountain, serious amount of snow, but once again far away.

LOL...Skiing in the NE is like spending summers in the Desert. WHY would anyone plan a trip to a mole hill.
Real skiing is done in the west guys. Sorry
