Where to stay? = La Concha (Condado) ...right on the beach... a business associate of ours, owns the place. PM me for details & rates.

Do i rent a car? = YES, definitely !!. PR is a small island, with a map & rental you cant go wrong. Budget actually rents Jeep Wranglers down there along with other cool island hoppers.

Places to eat? = for dinner, a high-end, dim lit atmosphere spot in Condado... "Ajili Mojili" serves up a "Lobster Asopao" that will knock your socks off !!! (you will not soon forget about htis place) & for daytime munchies, there are tiny little spots along the beach (which is basically the whole island) that make these incredible deep-fried crab empanadas...FRESH all day long. You can find a couple dozen of these little shacks as you head down to Luquillo Beach on the left hand side of the road, you can't miss it !!!

I agree with Ralph. If you want to stay in the metro area then La Concha is the Place. Great location, it has one of the or the most hottest lounge spots in the island. Great restaurants in the area. There is a park right next to it with a great lounge also. Can't go wrong with La Concha, plus it is fairly new.

 

definitely go down to old san juan for some great times.
