Good Restaurant near Monterey Aquarium

Any recommendations?

We'll be going up there for a wedding and stopping by the Monterey Aquarium for baby scuderia.

Thanks!

Plenty of casual places on Cannery Row. We usually just go to Bubba Gump or something like that.

I have been to Bubba Gump, so I was thinking of trying other places on the Cannery row.

What other places have you been to?

Send RedlineRobert a PM. He lives in the area, is really well connected, and knows good food (and booze)

Or ask Chris from Cali. He lived there for awhile and directed M5Kid and myself to the best sandwich place I've ever been to: Compagno's. Ask for Bennett and tell him you know Chris.

Seriously - go to Compagno's. If you tell him you're Chris' friend, prepare for a feast. I'd also recommend the FishHopper on the pier. There are other places for seafood, but I really like the atmosphere and views the FishHopper has. Call ahead and reserve a bayside table.

This is Compagno's (it's about 5 min driving up the hill from the Aquarium):
