Amazing Tempura at SOGO, who would have thought?
I don't know what kind of crazy breading they used, but this Tempura place on the top floor of SOGO in Taipei was able to make theirs so light, fluffy, and no a hint of it being fried in oil with breadding.
And Taiwanese people take their Japanese food very seriously, Taiwan being a former Japanese colony and all. Even down to the music, it's the old school traditional Japanese music that the old people listen to that gets played in every Japanese restaurant that we went there.
