LA desserts and such..

Will be in LA Feb 14-18. Any recommendations for top notch desserts and such?

carendt242 has a reputation beyond repute

look into Boule and Jin Patisserie. i like Boule's ice creams *a lot*, chocolates are merely ok, and some pastries are very good. Jin's chocolates are ok, macaroons ok, but it's a nice casual experience.
