A Formal Introduction: HRE FlowForm Wheels
So, we know these wheels have been out for a while but we wanted to formally introduce them to those who haven't seen or heard of them yet.
HRE FF01 FlowForm:
-State of the art, low-pressure cast flow-formed barrels
-Available in Euro, JDM/KDM and American fitments
-Starting at 22lbs.
-19" & 20" sizes
-Available in Satin Black or Gloss Silver finishes
-They start at $2900/set

I grabbed this from another thread I posted in earlier:
The main differences between our FlowForm wheels and our forged, for example P40SC wheels, are weight, build and price. FlowForm wheels are created from molten aluminum that is poured into a mold, cast, cooled, then machined to arrive at the desired fit for an application and finally heat-treated.
Forged wheels are different in that they start out as aluminum billet, then cut to spec., heated, and pressed into shape under about 8-12000 tons of pressure. The forging process transmits an enormous amount of energy into the metal and changes the internal grain structure of the aluminum. They are then heat-treated to achieve the right balance of strength and resilience for a higher tolerance to absorb energy in comparison to a FlowForm wheel. Unfortunately, this process is much more time consuming and costly which translates into a higher price tag.
So the major advantages to our FlowForm wheels are that they are relatively affordable, still light-weight and, if I may do say so myself, look great! The disadvantages are that they tend to be heavier than their forged counterparts due to their relatively low material strength properties and can also come in limited specifications. Nevertheless, FlowForm wheels are all engineered and tested to the same standards of HRE forged wheels and carry TUV and JWL/VIA certifications.
I apologize about the wordy reply, but I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have anymore questions! =))
