Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions

Bridgestone S-04 Pole Positions
Years ago, on my BMW 330Ci cab I ran the Bridgestone S03 Pole Position tires, followed by a set of Michelin PS2s. I found the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions to be the better of the two. Both were impressive in the wet, but in the dry, it was impossible to lose traction with the S-03s - something which could not be said of the PS2.
I have been excited about the US launch of the PSS on April 1, but Bridgestone just informed me they have a launch event for the S-04 Pole Position tires in about 2 weeks time.
So now I'm hoping Damon can pull off a new Max Performance test on the Tire Rack track at the beginning of April. Would love to see the new PSS and S-04 take on the previous champs: the PS2 and Continental ExtremeContact DW.
Damon - can you make it happen?

Here's my $0.02 from all the different tires I've used:
1. Pirelli PZero (Porsche 997.1, Audi RS4 OEM). Excellent all around though they did wear quickly.
2. Bridgestone RE050 (Porsche 997.2 OEM). Very good, lasted up to 17K miles (so far), not as good in the dry as the Pirellis, excellent value.
3. Michelin PS2 (Audi S4, Porsche Cayman OEM). Best tire of the three in the wet, soft sidewalls, but still had tons of grip. Average wear and VERY expensive.
I had S02s on my S2000, but they weren't that great, still better than the S03s I replaced them with. Those tires were worthless.

Been reading alot as I'm still deciding on the best 10,000mi(2 summer seasons) tire for myself this year but I keep reading the PS2's have had their day as the reference tire. The Super Sports are the replacement for the PS2(or so I read).
I'm still leaning towards Potenza RE-11's at the moment but the PSS's have me second guessing right now. S-04's could make this even more difficult!
How was the daily driving on S-03's??? I'm not concerned about wet weather performance as long as I can drive normally on the hwy in the rain without worry. Sound comfort is a consideration.

RE-11 is a dry weather track tire with a short lifespan.
S-04 and the PSS are the best of the current crop. Everything else is out of date. You'd be insane to buy PS2 or P Zero if you can get an S-04 or PSS in your size.
