Michelin Pilot Super Sports
#42
I had both the PS2s and RE-11s on my M3 and vastly preferred the RE-11s despite the fact that they didn't last as long. The Bridgestones just had a lot more grip, but I'm looking forward to more reviews for the Super Sports as I can drive with PSCups on my M3 forever.

What are these? You referring to R11's?
JC, I don't track my M and we get a shit load of rain.... I've read where the conti's are better on wet roads... All that being said you still suggest going with R11's?

Smart ass, we don't have a track here (yet) and Louisiana isn't know for it's twist or elevation changes (unless we are talking about going from 12 ft above sea level to under water!!!! I do drive it as spirited as I can, just making sure the tire wasn't going to be " overkill" for DD and the occasional trip north to Mississippi.....

CMoney for non track use I would definately be interested in Super Sports or try the already tested Conti extreme contact DWs. Conti 3s have good review as well but I feel like the DWs have something over them...
I like to use tire racks tire categorization as a guide too. The Max performance cat is what I'd use for daily driving, little to no track time, +15,000km use, moderate ride comfort tire selection. The Extreme summer performance tires seem to mostly be track designed tires you can drive on the street... >20,000kms, highest grip, feel, response and noise. Damon might better explain it but this is what I got from browsing their site.
