The Guitarists of Team Speed
#12
Some SWEET guitars in this thread! I've played on and off since high school just for sheer enjoyment. I love the feel of a demonic sounding guitar through a distorted amp. I like heavy guitars like Les Pauls, USA Custom Shop Washburns, Wayne Charvels, I've a Music Man Petrucci (my nod to strat styles).
My current favorite is a USA Washburn that I had made with a conederate flag rebel skull and bone jobber. I'll post some pics as soon as I finish rebuilding my heavy iron PC that crashed this week, and do my back up.
Nothing special in the skills department. But love heavy riffage. Before I ripped my left distal bicep tendon from the bone I was trying to get my head and hands around fingerstyle, jazz...
Last time I played was back in September, just days before my injury. I used to manage this band just because they are friends and needed someone to schedule gigs. And I'd practice with em: www.myspace.com/colossick

DJ, is that a flame on that gold top Strat? And a birds eye neck? I have to say that is one of the nicest Strats I've ever seen. Is it a custom one off? Who did you get it from? Even though I'm not a Strat guy, I'd buy that. My only other consession/desire for a strat is that antique yellow, with a bird eye maple neck.

Brian, it's not flame it's cracked relic paint! Todd Krause the builder put it in the freezer so the body would crack just like Sambora had him build (I had him make me three of the same guitars he ordered as well)
Yes that's flame on the maple of the neck as well...
