Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown

This album is very different from Green Day's previous work. It's very much from the heart, and you can tell with the ballad-like approach they took.

It's crazy but this album really talks to me...very very dark, raw and visceral as it paints the bleak political view that our current nation is facing - well at least that's my interpretation on it.

 

^^I'm mixed on it...tough to follow their last album...but overall it is pretty good.

I'm currently listening to some Motorhead

 

Yea, that is the same feedback given by a lot of folk's first impression but by their 2nd and 3rd listening, they are hooked - line and sinker.
