OMG here I was thinking I was the only one with a decent taste in music and it turns out there are two other on this forum who listen to Dream Theater and their other projects. I've been a hardcore DT fan for over 10 years and seen them live numerous times. Liquid Tension Experiment is also sick, got all their CDs

I actually haven't heard of Transatlantic, but will definitely check it out. Thanks for the tip!

I've seen DT in concert 3 times and Petrucci twice on the G3 tour. Some epic performances, to say the least.

One of the coolest DT shows I saw was a few years ago at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. For their second set, they played the entire Metallica Master of Puppets album
