I need some input from you guitar pro's.
Which of these Taylor guitars should I get?
Both about same price and size.
Taylor 2011 912CE or Fall Limited KOA??????

My opinion is the KOA is always a winner, but you can;t go wrong with any limited Taylor. I have a few and lovvvvvvvveeeee them!
One caveat, the Koa is a very sensitive wood, needs to be well humidified or you will not be a happy camper!

I live in Texas and it can get hot or cold to extremes. Would keeping the guitar in the case maybe with one of those little moisture humidifiers in the case be sufficient. Would hate to have to worry about splitting, cracks, etc.

Yes, a Koa you would want to keep in the case with the little damper in the sound-hole.
You can always call the customer service line at Taylor Guitars and tell them what you are looking for, ointment it will reside etc. It's not like calling a help desk in India I promise you this lol, you'll chat with someone who knows these in and out...They are friends of Teamspeed!
