guitar tuning help

Why does my guitar sound off tune after I tune it and play chrods around 7-9 frets. GRRrr

Am I pushing down too hard? Its impossible to play it without the note tweaking slightly out of whack.

Is the neck bent?

Is it because Im using 3 different types of strings?

It seems to be the G string mostly

its a fender strat

I would check the nut at the g string. Might have to get that replaced.

Don't mix your strings first, secondly the guitar may need a proper set up.

Spend the $20 to take it in and have the action set up.

Well yeah thats how I got it in tune. Took about 2,439 tries before all 6 strings were in check.

Update, about a month ago I got a bunch of new strings. The problem was that I had like 3 different brands on the guitar at one time which I guess threw it out of whack but now its all good and in tune.
