Transiberian Orchestra Fans

For those of you that know and appreciate the rock opera that is Transiberian Orchestra, you can download their first new release in years at Amazon today and tomorrow for $3.99.

Amazon.com: Night Castle (Amazon MP3 Exclusive Version): Trans-Siberian Orchestra: MP3 Downloads

I downloaded it and listened to it, and it is amazing. The musicianship is top notch as can be expected. And there are a few surprises for Savatage fans in it as well.

Certainly gets me in the mood for the holidays!

Very cool to see some folks that know the TSO!

I can say that beyond a shadow of a doubt, their live shows define what a musical "experience" should be.

Sadly, they're not coming to Atlanta this year, and I've never "traveled" to a show in my life... So I'm on the fence about driving to see them when they get close to Atlanta.

None the less, this is a great band. If you've never listened to them, check em out.

Just downloaded it. If I didn't have such a shi**y internet connection, I would be listening to it right now. Oh well, it can wait until morning. Thanks bro.

+1

I have seen them in Chicago and up in the higher seats you can reach out and touch all the lasers. Visually I doubt there is better. If there is, I have never seen it.

It is nice to see a worthy band get some more recognition.

Have not downloaded yet. Is it better than Beethoven's Last Night?

Man... That is a very tough call...

I have to be objective and avoid knee jerk reaction because they've finally released something new.

I love neo-classically influenced rock, and BLN is more in that vein; so if I had to choose between the two, I would choose BLN over Night Castle.

That is not meant to take anything away from Night Castle at all. It is very good, but it is more that "Big" rock sound. I enjoy the classical tweaks that were all over BLN. While there is some of that in Night Castle, it is more straight rock.

One thing is for sure, there is no mistaking that it is TSO!
