Anyone playing in a band, or jamming regularly?
I am surprised with that we haven't had this question with the number of people who play here.
Is anyone playing in a band now?
Or, goes anyone get together and jam at all?
I used to, and I have been.
As much as I am able I get up with a band that I used to manage and just jam until my left arm gives out. Nothing like strapping on a Les Paul, and turning up a rodded 5150.

We should think of a way to jam with other ts-ers by like, uploading loops of us playing or something and passing it along and adding to it.
I don't really gig or anything but I try to jam with as many bands and people as I can. Problem is, somehow I always end up in an altered state and don't remember much of it. Tragic.

I think that is a great idea!
I'd love to do that, but I fall on the heavier end of things when I play. I'd like to settle down a bit and get into more of a bluesy phase. But it hard to escape the release of a cranked 5150.
I've got some tracks that we just goofed off and did last week. I'll find a place to upload them and see what happens.

I try to break up what I play a lot and experiment but naturally I'll resort to really heavy chug chug metal kind of sound with shit loads of harmonics and what not. However, over the past year it's been blues just as much, Albert King kind of stuff.
5150 ah? Man, I need a nice tube amp. I've been eyeing the Mesa Triple Rectifier for so long.

Love Mesa's too!
I learned that mid's are just too important when you're trying to play. And Mesa's get muddy in a live setting. But! A mesa, combined with a 5150 is awesome.
In fact, as soon as I can find a place to host a few tracks, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. One of the cab's is a duel rec, and the other is a 5150.
More irony... Remember, this is metal... I'm playing a Les Paul, and my buddy is playing a wired and fired tele!!
