Brought to you by the Swedish Teamspeeders: Spotify!

I don't think the songs exist as files on your puter. You're only streaming them in the program.

The thing is, In Sweden you need to get invited but not in the uk. Hence the uk-proxy.

Perfect! anyone know how to get the explicit version of the songs? I have only found the censored versions (not that big of a deal really)

From cnet:
"The quality is also very good. Spotify uses Ogg Vorbis to stream music at around 160kbps. Not CD quality, but certainly as good as many DAB radio stations. In order to save bandwidth, a streamed song is downloaded to your computer in a cache. That means you won't transfer the data again if you want to listen to a song over and over."
So it's sort of there on your puter, but you won't be able to grab them. The point of Spotify is to share music with friends without having to store it somewhere. Just start the app at work and create some nice playlists and share them with your buddies.

For the U.S users. You might want to go to preferences and add a U.K proxy. I've heard that they might do a check to see if you're in the U.K or not. Just google Uk proxy and you'll find one.
