Post your targets!!!

Hey gang, I went shooting a few days ago and rented a sig 226 in .40. God I love these guns! So anyway the reason why I really wanted to post this up is to ask: "what is a respectable group and at what range for a pistol?"

And to be perfectly honest this is by far the best group out of the day, I hadn't shot a pistol in over a month so I was really rusty and very inconsistent.

So anyway, here's the reports card.

The black part of the target measures 4 inches.

Bro, considering that you're new to the sport, that isn't a bad group at all. From those holes, it looks like you're grip is quite good and balanced, but you need to work on trigger squeeze; then that group will fall into a group less than an inch at 7. Well done bro.

Thanks guys.

I wish I knew what I was doing when I shot that group. I tell ya, everything else that day was terrible but out of nowhere I shot that tight-ish group

I was hoping more people could post their targets up, maybe this is a good thread for "what am I doing wrong, am i pulling too low on the trigger, etc.." ... not so much for showing off, that wasnt the point of me starting this thead.

I appreciate the feedback so far though.

went today... since I didn't go to the usual outdoor range with steel targets...

Then, my first 5 shots on my CZ really shocked me...
I've never shot a group close to this...
I did notice my CZ has been breaking in and getting more accurate.
