So i thought I could show you all the weapon that is part of my work.

I am a full time biathlon athlete and I use this weapon everyday.


The base for my weapon is a Anscütz Fortner that look like this.



But there are not many restrictions about what you can do to your weapon in the sport, so after numerous of custom modifications and a collaboration with a artist as a publicity stunt, the weapon now look like this.







The design is certainly not to everybody's taste, but as I sad, it was meant to be sort of a publicity stunt and i love how it turned out.

The pattern is not painted on ether. It is a large decal that I have managed to put on with a heat gun and some sore thumbs :P And the end result looks like it it painted on so I am quite pleased with it.

I suspect that biathlon is a sport that very few of you here on team speed has heard about, so i hope you enjoy it, and that i have showed you something new

 

I love watching biathlon, well, I did love it even more when it was on svt and not tv4. Anyhow, awesome that you can do this full time, I guess you're quite a few that can live out of it. Are you by chance on the national team?


Edit: Nice rifle aswell! I guess you won't get any thumbs up from the Mericans' since they only like 5,56cal, shotguns and hand granades for self-defence!

 

Biathlon seems like a really fun sport to compete in!

 

I always thought Biathlon guns were some of the coolest looking around.

May I ask- what is unique about these guns and why are they used, specifically? Thanks
