The CZ-75B

I am doing a little research on the CZ-75B. From what I hear its a great gun, but I would like some other opinions. Anyone have any experience with this gun.

I have it. I was attracted by all steel construction, compared to the composite plastic feel of Glocks & Co. guide rod is steel and guide spring is a double braided beauty. my friends Glock has a puny spring and plastic guide rod which I revile, b/c Glock costs over $300 more.
I have mine in .40, it never jammed, feels solid, but to be honest, it couldn't hang in rapid fire grouping with my buddies .45 Glock. Good gun for the price

Not a bad weapon to start with. I liked it compared to the Tupperware Glocks.

Anyone choosing this over a Glock is nuts. CZ-75s are good guns, but very particular to ammo.

sorry here's a picture of the pistol. Its an Austrian made full sized pistol in 9mm and .40 SW. Full steel construction, high reliability, and a double/single action trigger system. Just a note to add, it is the most used pistol by militaries around the world.

You've "heard". I know you own a SCAR (as do I), so you know what quality is. If Glocks aren't your thing, then get a SIG or HK pistol. I've owned a CZ-75. Unless it was high-quality ball ammo (forget hollowpoints), it would jam. Reloads? Jam. HPs? Jam. You get the idea. For me, anything I buy HAS to work, every time, whether it's a car, a gun, a laser printer, etc. If you're buying the CZ-75 as a collector or as a novelty, I highly recommend it, along with a good Browning Hi-Power, etc. If it's for any kind of personal protection, I'd skip it.

Also - it's Czech, not Austrian. Glocks are Austrian.

I was going to say, CZ is czech, not austrian. I shot ammo from walmart, it never jammed on me

I thought it was bought out by an austrian company after Czechoslovakia split
