Got my first pistol

Picked up a g19 the other day. Figured I've been in NC long enough now that I needed something else other then my 3 shotguns and wanted to take advantage of my clubs pistol range instead of just the skeet fields.

Next step will be building an AR

Once I get some money

I belong to a Gun Club out here ( Durham County Wildlife Club ) and I would really like to take advantage of what they have. They have a few skeet, trap, and sporting clay fields, a pistol/rifle range, a huge archery course, and a big fishing pond. It's about 20 minutes from my house so I've been spending a lot of time there shooting skeet and sporting clays.

Unfortunately for the pistol/rifle range you can't shoot a rifle larger then a .22 rim fire. You can shoot any size pistol however.

My next purchase will be a .22 rifle (that M&P AR style .22 makes me laugh but has me intrigued, lol...but will most likely pick up a small bolt action .22). After that I want to pick up an archery kit.

There are places out here that will let you shoot anything and have 400+ yard tracks, I'll head out there with some people before I decide to build myself something however.

Congrats on the G19. Perfect first pistol. Perfect last pistol. Heck, perfect pistol.

Very happy with it. Need to work on my grip as I was shooting low and to the right with it. Haven't shot a pistol in 14+ years other then a single six ruger .22 I have

mechamegalodon is an unknown quantity at this point
pick up a 10/22 as your rifle, I think you will find the bolt action to be a lot of reloading and waiting. Not to mention mags are much cheaper for 10/22's than any other bolt action.

Bought a .380 from a buddy a few weeks ago. First gun period. Tomorrow morning I am going with a co worker over to the Gander Mountain Academy. It looks really awesome. Signed up for the live range and the simulator. Check out the video
