Torture Test... DDM4 (video)

Not only do I love this because I just happened to buy one a few weeks ago...
It's also just fun to watch.

I've put about 1000 rounds through it so far. I love it. It's a pure rush to shoot it.

I've got mine with an
Aimpoint CompC3
on a American Defense QD Mount (lower 1/3 co-witness)
Surefire G2X Tactical on a DD Mount
Troy single point sling
Also recently bought a Lasermax Mini that I have at 6 o'clock. It's sighted in for 15 yards (home defense).

Are these true torture tests if the barrel is taped for the water and dirt/sand tests? Soldiers generally don't remember to tape their barrel before dropping their guns into sand.

That's to avoid a "kaboom." No weapon can sustain a blockage in the barrel when fired. The point is to show that the action of the rifle will still function. A rifle with a blocked barrel will not function regardless of manufacturer, and could also cause serious harm or death to the shooter. The rest of the moving parts still functioning is what counts.

Ok, that makes perfect sense. Obviously a blockage will result in a catastrophic failure. Thanks!
