It arrived today. I'm so stoked. My first rifle that has more than 7 rounds.

Daniel Defense M4v1.

This thread is multipurpose.
1) show off my new 'toy'.
2) Start a new 'black guns' thread.

My new family member is below. I can't shoot it until Saturday at the earliest, and that's killing me! Think my neighbors would mind if I tested it in the back yard?

Congrats! I've been eyeing some DD rifles for a while... Trying to give the wife a hint for my anniversary present You plan on going with Optics? or just using Irons?

Congrats Scott, just make sure when you test fire it in the backyard, you shout "Say hello to my little friend!" at the top of your lungs! Safe shooting.

Irons for now, and optics within the next few months. Aimpoint is on my list.

The visual is awesome. I would pay a lot to be able to do that.

Congrats Scott! Let's shoot when I get back in town. I'll bring my AR and if the range allows, the G3.
