Just watched this-- frankly, I'm amazed at the fair and interesting portrayal of entirely normal people buying and generally playing with class 3 bang-bangs. I didn't expect to ever see that kind of thing on television.
Hats off to Discovery.

I don't get this show. They went ahead and designed and manufactured a Saiga masterkey @ $3,000 each. Well guess what? Knights Armament Company did the same thing with a much cheaper Remington 870 back in the '80s and you can still buy them today...
Did they ever get the suppressed shotgun to work?

Thank you Overtaker. I thought that someone had already built the "masterkey" as they called it, and not some piece of crap Saiga shotgun butchered and mounted.
And the "grenade launcher", pshhh, give me a break.
And how bout they spend some of that 24K on some dental work for the daughter? Just saying.. they have done wonders for teeth in the 20th century....

Reality shows are never going to be about the crème de la crème of product design. I'd say just the act of reversing some of the "machine gun" boogieman nonsense in popular culture is more than worth cutting them a break.
Having Joe Sofa proclaim "Hey, I want to play with that", only to find out he can't in many of the klepto-states sows the seed of turning "Nobody should need that" into "I should be able to have that". That is a VERY good thing.
Like I said, I never thought I'd see anything of the sort on a major network.
